Medicii au indepartat un nodul de pe corzile vocale ale lui Bill. David Jost, producatorul si managerul trupei Tokio Hotel, a declarat in ziarul BILD: "Operatia a decurs asa cum trebuia. Daca aceasta s-a incheiat cu succes, nu putem spune inca. Insa doctorul este foarte increzator." Tom (18), fratele geaman al lui Bill a fost cu el in spital. El nu trebuie insa sa-l inveseleasca pe Bill prea mult. D. Jost: "Lui Bill ii este interzis sa vorbeasca aproximativ 10 zile."
Tom povesteste ziarului BILD ca, daca Bill nu va mai putea canta, el va trece in fata microfonului.

“If Bill’s voice will sound like before is impossible to say right now”, according to David Jost. Spiritual support Bill got from his “Talisman”, twinbrother Tom and his parents. “They are constantly with him in the clinic”, Tell Jost. Today or tomorrow Bill will leave the hospital again. “He has to go back to the doctor every day for the next week for evaluation”. And not one word is he allowed to speak for the next 10 days!
