More and more fans of the teen band Tokio Hotel have the opinion that Tom Kaulitz was right with hitting the Stalker.

Shock and rejection were the first reactions, when the media reported about the incident. A user named ‘martix’ was outraged: “I think that’s very bad, where’s their function as a role-model?” meikel44 saw just a lot of thanklessness in Tom’s activity: “The fans have made Tokio Hotel as big as they are now. For months masked girls harassed Tokio Hotel ( MOPO reported). In one case a fan even attacked the mother from the twins, and Tom and Bill had filed charges. And the stalkers don’t want to stop, according to the manager David Jost. After the scandal at the gas station ( where Tom slapped the french girl Perrine) the laywer of the fanatic girls wanted to find a settlement.
The Teenie-Stars offered the girl gang to drop the lawsuit, under the condition the girls confirm in writing, that they will never ever get close to Tom and Bill’s family again. But the girls don’t want to stop. They fired their laywer. Two of three stalkers have removed their attorney, said Jost.

Reporter: They search for a white SUV. Driver: Tom Kaulitz, guitarist of the band Tokio Hotel. The most popular rock stars of Germany climb the international charts and win over the hearts of countless girls. Many of the fans want to close to their idols. On a DVD the boys speak about this excessive amount of fan adoration.
Tom: Our fans are particular. They dont fucking care where we are at, if its some kind of lame gala event or if its a concert they are always there for us. Its difficult to walk around on the streets like everyone else. If we do it, we disguise ourselves. I hide my hair andoh, I cant tell everything, or else Ill be noticed anyway.
Those five French girls appear to be the most radical fans. Their goal: Observing the musicians permanently.
Perrine: Whats so special about the Tokio Hotel world is that the fans want to see the musicians all the time and at all costs. The more you see them, the happier you are. Its a kind of competition to see them as often as possible. Some fans even count how often they have seen them
Reporter: The girls cover up their identities to stalk the band incognito. On the internet they call themselves The Afghans on Tour. Instead of fan love they promise the musicians theyll make their lives a nightmare. There are wild car chases on the Autobahn.
Girl: Drive faster! Drive faster! Is that him? Other girl: Yes, thats him. Keep close. Girl: Hes coming!
Reporter: And it is really Tom Kaulitz, this time in the black SUV. The girls even film a rough argument with the mother of the guitarist, using their cell phones.
Simone: Go away! Go away! Stalkers: Well call the police! You are crazy! Well call the police!
The climax of all these chases took place last week at a gas station in Hamburg. Harassed and overwhelmed by too much fan affection, Tom Kaulitz is said to have thrown a lit cigarette at of these girls. The French girl reacted instantly: she stubbed out the cigarette on his car window. The situation escalates.
Perrine: He came to me and punched me. In my face, once, and then I fell on the ground. He punched me once again, also in the face.
Reporter: The girl gang strikes back: pressing charges against him because of criminal assault. They consult an attorney.
Attorney: Can you tell me what happened that evening at the gas station? How many injuries did you get because of the blows?
Perrine: In my eyeand I didnt hear anymore. And its always into my earand my back hurts.
Reporter: For Tokio Hotel, [Tom] supposedly going ballistic is the maximum credible accident. Even if the French girls announced the escalation beforehand. Quote: The next week will be a small nightmare. Attention, we are getting dissatisfied, we are getting impatient. DO YOU HEAR US?
It seems very unlikely there will be an agreement outside of the court. Also, the career of Tokio Hotel halts.
Journalist (of BRAVO): The consequence is that the band moved several times in the past, just have some peace and quiet. They ought to be in Los Angeles now, where they want to finish recording their new album. This didnt happen as of yet. They said they cant leave Germany at this point, they cant leave their mother alone. They want to protect her. They want to be with her and are scared for her. She was threatened by the girls. Its a serious situation for them.
Reporter: The management of the musicians wants to sue the girls now, accusing them of stalking. Some girls already dropped out of the gang. Kathrine and Melanie thought the events of the past weeks were taking it too far.
One of the girls: They realized it scares the musicians when they are masked and cant be identified. The girls find it amusing. They even bought these white masks that are supposed to remind them of killers from the United States, and they started wearing them when chasing them. They saw that it scared them, and that boosts their schadenfreude.
On Friday the French girls declined an peace offer from the management. The condition was keeping away from the band. This is out of question for them.

There names: Perrine (21), georgina (25), Aurore (21) and Noemai (20). Bild-reporter ask the girls that show thelmselves for the first time without disguise: Why don’t you just leave the boys from “Tokio Hotel” alone?
“We aren’t stalkers”, claims Perrine. “We love the music and the lyrics. We haven’t followed them, we just wanna know where and how they live. That interests us.”
Among the extreme fans a contest has started, who can see the boys most often in a private situation. Videos from the chases from those so called fans are then put on the internet.
Perrine: “The special thing is that we wanna see Tokio hotel always and everywhere. The more often you see them the happier you get.”
With perrine it even went so far that she moved from paris to Hamburg to be close to Bill and Tom. The foudn a job (doesn’t wanna tell what) and found a house close to the one of the twins, and then started following them.
On 15 April it went too far when Tom lost his patience at a Hamburger gasstation and hit perrine in the face. The young woman pressed charges.
Shortly before the mother of Bill and Tom would have been attacked by the “Afghans”. The girls claim this is not true.
Noemai: “The mother from Tom has attacked us - with a cola bottle”. The incident would have happened in front of the house of Bill and Tom where the “Afghans” were waiting for the twins.
What do they want next? There lawyer Burkhard benecken (33) to Bild: “An apology and compensation. We want at least 10.000 euro.”
The mangement of the band didn’t want to respond yesterday to the girls claims.

The boys from Tokio Hotel, citizens of Hamburg and idols of teenagers across the world, don’t want to be confronted with the agressive fan observations anymore. Manager David Jost said: “We belive that the stalking topic henceforth may be reconditioned solely by legal means.” But the successful musicians from Magdeburg, who won the Award for Best Newcomer in 2008 at the MTV Video Music Awards, don’t want to hide. Abendblatt found out that singer Bill and guitarist Tom Kaulitz (both 19), drummer Gustav Schäfer (20) and bassist Georg Listing (22) are participating in the new H & M campaign “Fashion Against AIDS”.

For months, aggressive fans follow the successful musicians, who stormed the charts with hits like “Durch den Monsun”, told their manager the German Press Agency. “These girls are not masked fans, they are militant stalkers. That has nothing to do with Fan-Love anymore,” says David Jost. Supposedly a French group called “Les Afghans on tour” are already known for their attacks against the band. “They followed the boys and their families for months, therefore, the change of their permanent residence.”
Stalking (English: to Stalk, to creep ip) denotes persistent pursuit in a mixture of jealousy and fanaticism, and is a criminal offense. In Germany it is up to three years imprisonment. Celebrities often pay a high price for their fame. It shouldn’t go this far with Tokio Hotel.

Giant trouble for Tom Kaulitz! According to RTL-Information the prosecution has brought charges against him. The 20-year-old Tokio-Hotel-guitarist is alleged to beat a girl up. Gabi Funk with the whole story:
With her lawyer, the French girl Perrine, visited the putative crime scene again, a gas station in Hamburg. There was the incident, for which Tom from Tokio Hotel has to stand trial soon.
Perrine: He parked his car exactly here and he hit me there.
Lawyer: An evidence is especially the video, which shows clearly, no ifs, no buts, that Tom had hit her at least once, when Perrine stood and it also shows as clearly that Perrine also got hit by Tom, when she even lay on the ground.
Injuries on the ear, on the shoulder and in the face, Perrine claimed to have at that time, with the emergency service she was taken to the hospital.
Perrine: Fairness is important! I just want, that the court says “Tom Kaulitz is at fault!”
For the band this case represents unlike that indeed. Perrine and her 3 french friend, who also call themselves “Les Afghanes On Tour” are alleged to stalk Tokio Hotel for months, made their lifes really a living hell. When Perrine allegedly put a cigarette out on Tom’s car, he lost his nerves. Later the girls also were alleged to threaten Bill’s and Tom’s mother.
Tom: That had absolutely nothing to do with fans, they were just people, who are… yeah, extremely disturbed.
Perrine’s lawyer doesn’t want to accept that.
Lawyer: The band Tokio Hotel means that this would be Stalking, we always have denied it, and even if it would be so, it’s not a criminal act, because the band, who is a world-famous band, has to accept much more than like a musician, who nearly no one knows.
In the worst case Tom are threaten up to 5 years in prison, which is very unlikely according to lawyer Benecken. His client wants an apology above all. Tom’s manager wasn’t within reach today, but he said to the BILD-paper, the way things stand at the moment, there won’t be any process.

They apparently had a showdown in April which ended in Tom defending himself against this behavior and allegedly assaulted one of girls. The case was settled out of court for nearly $3,000.
